Who Is This Training For?

  • Total novices in accounts, payroll, computers or Sage
  • AAT and book keeping accountancy students
  • Accounts professionals
  • Self employed business owners
  • Someone who needs nationally accredited qualifications for employment
  • People who want complete reassurance in the quality of training

What Experience Do I Need?

Absolutely NONE at all.
We will teach you all you need to know about accounts, payroll, computers and Sage.

Do I Need To Be Good With Maths?

NO. The beauty of Sage is that all the hard work and number crunching is done in the background.
You just need to learn what buttons to click on to put the right information into the system and leave it to Sage.

What Type Of Courses Do You Offer?

We believe it’s best to specialise in one subject, ours is Sage accounts and payroll, so we don’t deliver any other courses.
All our courses are classroom based which means that you will never have to wait for questions to be answered as is the case with on-line or distance learning courses.

How Long Do The Courses Take?

This depends on your own level of ability and your keyboard skills (how fast you can type).
Some people can do all the course work and be ready for an exam in as little as 12 hours. You may take longer.
As a fully qualified assessor with 22 years experience I’ll give you a good indication of the maximum amount of time I think it will take you when you come for your free three hour taster session.

When Do Your Courses Start?

Our courses run at a daytime and evenings operate on a roll-on / roll-off basis which means you can start anytime as long as there are places available.

Why Are Your Courses So Different From Other Sage Courses?

Unlike many other courses, you don’t need any prior knowledge of accounts, payroll, computers or Sage to study with us.
Jargon free and easy to follow our innovative teaching system means that:

  1. No experience needed in accounts, payroll. computers or Sage
  2. You decide WHAT you want to learn
  3. You decide WHEN you want to learn
  4. You decide HOW FAST you want to learn

What Sage Courses Do You Teach?

We teach three levels of accounts, and one level of payroll.

How Long Will It Take Me To Complete Each Course?

As I mentioned earlier this depends on your level of ability but the information below gives the maximum time each course should take.

City & Guilds Level One Accounts
I’d expect a complete novice to complete all the training and sit the level one exam in just one week. So for a cost of £250 for the training and £25 for the exam fee (optional) you could have a nationally recognised qualification in just one week.

City & Guilds Level Two Accounts
I’d expect someone with level one experience to complete all the training and sit the level two exam in just one week. Once again the cost would be £250 for a full weeks training but the exam fee is now £30.00.

City & Guilds Level Three Accounts
The level three is very much geared towards those with AAT and management accounts experience who carry out end of month routines, this course takes considerably longer. I would be able to give you an accurate estimate after making an initial assessment on your free three hour taster session.

NCFE Level 2 Payroll
There is no external exam but an in-house assessment for the qualification. I’d expect a complete novice to complete all the training and sit the level two assessment in just one week. The cost for the payroll training is £250 for a full weeks training and £30 for the assessment and certification.

Pick And Mix

One of the great things about “The Ultimate Sage Teaching System” is that it allows you to choose exactly what – when and how much you want to learn.
For example you may just need to learn about bank reconciliation or invoicing then we are able to provide you with that option.
This means you don’t waste your time and money going over things you don’t need to know just pick and mix any aspects of Sage.

How Do I Know That The Training Is Good Quality?

  • The first thing I'd ask you to do is check out the Testimonials page

I Don’t Like Exams

Don’t worry, if you decide that you don’t wish to take any of the above exams then, as an accredited training provider we are able to provide you with a certificate of competence / attendance.
This clearly lists all the Sage skills you have acquired while studying with us.

What Happens if I Fail The Exam?

Not a problem. If you complete the maximum recommended time for a course and you sit and fail the exam we will give you any additional training free, plus we will pay the exam fee for you.

What Are The Costs?
